Curglaff is inspired by my good friend Michelle, Mich Stitch on YouTube, who gives us one “forgotten” English word on each of her Flosstube episodes. It’s a fun and cheeky interpretation of the shock that one feels when first stepping into cold water. Wait till you read about the connection to American Chess Master Paul Morphy! (You can probably guess from the tombstone on the cover!)
Use the called for DMC, and, if you’re feeling adventurous, order the Cottage Garden Thread color Skylark for the word Curglaff.
