This sampler is an unfaithful adaptation of an antique sampler in my collection.

The original survives in shades of blue and pale yellow, but I wanted to liven it up just a bit. It just so happened that the Sulky Floss Pack from my previous design – 1905 Bird – consists of colors that made Rebecca’s sampler sing. I think an 8 year old would appreciate this palette very much.
